On October 8, 2021, the launching of the courses of the Module of the Penal System for Adolescents (MOSPA) took place. This event was led by the Ministry of Justice and Institutional Transparency of Bolivia and the Vice Ministry of Equal Opportunities, through the Directorate of Children, Adolescents and the Elderly, with the support of the Restorative Justice consortium formed by Fundación Tutator Bolivia, ProgettoMondo Mlal, CDC, CVCS and Fundación La Paz. Different authorities and professionals working in the penal system for adolescents also participated.
These courses have the objective of promoting the use of MOSPA and will be permanently available so that the professionals who will use this computer tool can access them from any part of the Bolivian territory, at any time.
In this sense, the courses are available at the following link: https://academy.tutator.net/ and if you want to register, you can contact the Directorate of Children, Adolescents and Senior Citizens to enable your user.
Finally, remember that MOSPA is a tool that is part of the Information System for Children and Adolescents (SINNA) of Bolivia and aims to manage cases of adolescents with criminal responsibility. In this sense, it seeks to protect and support the reintegration of adolescents who are in contact with the penal system for adolescents. In addition, it will generate real-time data for the formulation and evaluation of public policies in this area, supporting the construction of a special and specialized criminal justice system for adolescents.
